SageRidge Fiber Retreat & Campout June 24-26, 2016

The 2016 SageRidge Fiber Retreat & Campout will be held June 24-26 at SageRidge Mill & Critters, Clearmont, Wyoming. It’s a great opportunity to get away from everything and concentrate on all things fiber — spinning, carding, felting, dyeing, weaving and rope making.

SR Critters_IMG_3306The retreat is organized by Linda Kernstock, whose family farm members include “4 kids, 6 horses, 180+ alpacas, 8 cats, 3 dogs, 6 llamas, 2 goats, 2 sheep, 4 peacocks, 2 emu and lots of chickens.” Plus she has her own fiber mill to process the yarn from her animals.

If that sounds like heaven to you, then you don’t want to miss this opportunity.

Photos from last year’s retreat look like everyone is having great fun learning.
